What is diode laser？
Diode laser, also known as semiconductor laser, can produce monochromatic laser to specific skin chromophores. Compared with traditional broad spectrum(such as IPL hair removal), monochromatic lasers can target the treatment area more accurately with better penetration. Semiconductor technology is considered as the best technology for hair removal treatment.
Why diode laser 4 wave is better than 3 wavelength diode laser or single wavelength 808nm diode laser?
No matter the single wavelength 808nm machine or the triple wavelength 755nm 808nm 1064nm machine, their treatment theory is to target the melanin of the hair follicle and cut off the hair root growth.
However, the 940nm laser does not target melanin. It targets the oxyhemoglobin (which is usually to provide nutrition to the hair root). After the skin receives the irradiation of 940nm, the nutrition of the hair root is cut off, so the hair can’t grow fastly. Combined with the irradiation of other wavelengths, 4 wavelength lasers can destroy the hair root with a shorter treatment time and customers can get a better result.
What high power diode laser machine do we provide?
When we say high power diode laser hair removal machine, the “high power” does not refer to the machine power or laser power supply power. If you want a high power machine, the most important part you need to pay attention to is “the laser module”, which is inside the handpiece.
Therefore: high power = high laser module power = the bar amounts of laser module
For beginners, you can choose the handpiece with 8 laser bars, 10 laser bars
For advanced users, you can choose the handpiece with 12 bars, 14 bars, 16 bars
For professional users, you can choose 18 bars, 20 bars, 22 bars, 24 bars
If you have never used a diode laser hair removal machine before, I don’t suggest you buy a high power machine at the first time. On the one hand, a high power laser machine is expensive compared with standard configuration. On the other hand, beginners know less about laser machines. Once the machine is operated incorrectly, you may need to pay an extra repair fee. For beginners: 600W / 800W / 1000W are the recommended options.
Which four waves does it refer to?
755nm: has a better effect on white skin, fine hair / vellus hair / pale hair.
808nm: the golden wavelength for all skin types, all hair types.
940nm: the auxiliary wavelength for hair removal treatment. (Compared with traditional triple wavelength diode laser machines, 940nm wavelength is newly added.)
1064nm: has a better effect on dark skin, coarse hair / terminal hair / dark hair.
